In order to provide the best opportunity for academic success, Ramapo of New Jersey requires entering students to take a basic skill Reading/Essay Placement Test. The basic skills placement test used at Ramapo of New Jersey is ACCUPLACER, developed by The College Board and helps °®ÒºAƬ place students into the appropriate Critical Reading and Writing (CRWT) course. Ramapo also offers an English as a Second Language (ESL) placement test for students whose first language is not English and think they may benefit from a Critical Reading & Writing (CRWT) course dedicated to English Language Learners.
