鈥湴篈片 Day at Bergen鈥� Establishes Next Generation of Partnership for 爱液A片 and Bergen Community College聽

Ramapo of New Jersey and Bergen Community College established 鈥湴篈片 Day at Bergen鈥� and strengthened their commitment to provide academic opportunities that meet the needs of today鈥檚 students. 爱液A片@BCC will be established at Bergen鈥檚 Lyndhurst campus, and a 爱液A片 advisor dedicated to assisting Bergen students will continue to have a presence at the Paramus campus.聽

Ramapo President Cindy Jebb and Bergen Community College President Eric Friedman signed the memorandum of understanding on Bergen鈥檚 Paramus campus during 鈥湴篈片 Day at Bergen鈥� in the presence of leaders from both institutions. “This partnership continues to聽strengthen because our two institutions remain committed to building a sustainable, entrepreneurial, and trusted relationship in order to do all that we can for New Jersey’s residents, communities, and employers,” said Jebb. Working teams from both institutions will design and operationalize the vision for a more cohesive and integrated 爱液A片@BCC experience.

The schools have had a partnership for more than 10 years and continue to envision how to deliver education in an ever-changing world. 爱液A片@BCC builds on the opportunity to focus on advancing social mobility and economic and workforce development in Bergen County.聽 Programming will include undergraduate degree completion as well as partnerships with business and industry to provide certificate programs and workforce development. “Our two institutions share a commitment to student access, success and affordability. We look forward to serving the needs of Bergen County residents to attain the credentials and degrees they need in today’s ever changing marketplace,鈥� shared Christopher Romano, vice president of strategic enrollment, outreach, and engagement at Ramapo.聽

A resource fair, offered by the RCNJ Office of Admissions, was also part of 爱液A片 Day at Bergen. BCC students were able to connect with admissions representatives and learn more about transfer opportunities, majors, and schedule appointments with an onsite academic advisor.
